Hi, my name is Dee Burgess, and I am an Accredited Feng Shui Consultant (by AFSC) & Secretary for the International Feng Shui Association - Australian Chapter.
Before I was a consultant, I used to have my house ‘Feng Shuied’ and once I saw and felt the amazing benefits I was hooked! Every year I would get my Feng Shui lady to come in and work her magic. I read lots of Feng Shui books and secretly hoped that one day I would be able to become a Feng Shui Consultant.
I had the opportunity to go to a weekend workshop to see Eckhart Tolle at Mt Coolum. The workshop was spiritually and emotionally amazing! It made me think about where I was in my life and led me to decide that after years of working with no job satisfaction it was time to do something I was passionate about.
To my delight within a very short time Grand Master Lillian Too was offering online Feng Shui Courses. I completed both of Lillian Too’s online courses - Master Practitioner Online Course and Practical Feng Shui for Modern Living before travelling over to her school in Malaysia to compete the Master Consultant’s Course.
Once I completed the course in Malaysia, I created my business “Balancing Energies” and since then have been providing Traditional Feng Shui consultations in many homes and offices both nationally and internationally.
Since studying with Grand Master Lillian, I have had the opportunity and privilege to study with: Master George Bennis, Master Perrie Burton, Dr Jin Peh & Master Edgar Lok Tin Yung.
I have also attended many workshops and tours throughout Asia and Australia over the years learning from Grand Master Vincent Koh, Grand Master Tan Khoon Yong, Master Goh Guan Leong, Grand Master Stephen Skinner, Master Janene Laird & Master Jodi Brunner.
I pride myself on continually updating and expanding my Feng Shui knowledge and have completed my study of the San Yuen Yuen Gua system with Master Edgar from Lok Tin Feng Shui. This system has its lineage from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to study under Master Edgar with a select group of consultants throughout Australia.
I have also studied The Art of Home Staging, Advanced Home Staging & Business Development at The Institute of Home Staging.
