A Very Special Milestone in My Feng Shui Journey. Becoming a 40th Generation Lineage Holder

I’ve just returned home from a very special week in Melbourne, where I spent several days completing my Disciples Class with my Master Edgar.

It was a week filled with learning, deepening my understanding of traditional Feng Shui and, for me personally, reflecting on just how far my Feng Shui journey has taken me.

At the end of the class, I had the incredible honour of receiving my Disciples Certificate from my Master Edgar.

This certificate represents much more than completing another course.

With the completion of my Disciples Class, I am now recognised as a 40th Generation Lineage Holder within the San Yuen Yuen Gua Feng Shui lineage I have been studying. This lineage can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty, with the traditional teachings being passed down through generations.

To become part of a lineage with such a long history is something I feel incredibly privileged to be able to experience.

A Journey that Continues

My Feng Shui journey has never really been about simply learning a set of rules or techniques.

The more I learn, the more I understand how much depth there is within traditional Feng Shui. There are layers of knowledge, systems and principles that have been studied and refined over generations.

Completing my Disciples Class has given me another opportunity to deepen that understanding and to continue learning from my Master Edgar. I feel very grateful for his guidance, knowledge and generosity in sharing these teachings with me.

Being part of this lineage is something I’m finding quite difficult to put into words. There is a real sense of responsibility that comes with knowing these teachings have been passed down through generations, and I feel very strongly about respecting where they have come from and learning them in the way they were intended to be taught. And, if I’m completely honest, I’m a little overwhelmed by it all.

To think that I am now a 40th Generation Lineage Holder in a tradition that dates back to the Tang Dynasty is quite humbling. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, but at the same time, I’m very aware of how much more there is to learn.

From Student to a 40th Generation Lineage Holder

When I think back to when I first began my Feng Shui journey, I never imagined it would lead me here.

There have been many years of study, courses, travel, practice and, most importantly continually questioning and wanting to understand more deeply. Every stage of the journey has taught me something different.

There is always more to learn with Feng Shui, and I actually love that about it. Just when you think you understand one aspect, you discover another layer that takes you deeper.

Receiving my Disciples Certificate was a very emotional and meaningful moment for me.

It was a moment where I could stop and acknowledge the journey so far.

Honouring the Traditional Teachings

One of the things that has become increasingly important to me throughout my studies is the importance of understanding and respecting traditional Feng Shui.

There are many different approaches to Feng Shui today, and over time, some have become quite Westernised or simplified, moving away from the depth and precision of the traditional systems. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to study traditional Feng Shui in depth and to continue learning from these teachings.

For me, this is where I have seen the greatest difference in my clients’ homes and most importantly, in the results they experience. The more deeply I study traditional Feng Shui, the more I understand just how precise and powerful these systems can be when they are applied correctly.

Becoming a 40th Generation Lineage Holder doesn't mean that the learning is finished. If anything, it feels like the beginning of another chapter!

It is a reminder that there is still so much more to learn, understand and experience.

I feel incredibly honoured to be able to continue studying within a lineage that reaches back to the Tang Dynasty and to carry these teachings forward through my own practice.

A Very Special Moment

Looking at the photos from this week, I feel a mixture of pride, gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.

I’m proud of the years of work that have brought me to this point, but I’m also very aware that being entrusted with these teachings is a privilege.

I am so grateful to my Master Edgar for his guidance and to everyone who has supported me throughout my Feng Shui journey.

This week in Melbourne has been another very special chapter and one that I will treasure for many years to come.

And now as a 40th Generation Lineage Holder, I’m excited to continue learning, practising and deepening my understanding of these incredible teachings.

I feel very grateful for where this journey has brought me and very excited about where it might take me next!
